Siyao is a sound recordist, sound designer, composer, and alternative film artist.

After completing a Film Production BFA degree at York University, she found a passion in film preservation. She is currently pursuing a Museum and Cultural Management certificate at Centennial College while interning at the TIFF Film Reference Library. She blends practical filmmaking experience with a career goal in film preservation.

Siyao has been active in the film industry as a location sound recordist since 2019. She holds sound credits on over fifty projects. Currently based in Toronto, ON, Canada. Taking on various projects ranging from short films to features.
